24th January 2010 - New Year For No+Z^

A new year has come, and we are introduced to changes within our community. With the recent departure of Boosy, Kov, Goomba and our Head admin Fuzz, we give you a new administration consisting of Galavan, Sabreseed and our recently appointed admin Raid. With this new administration, the clan will be more successful and will continue to expand and grow over the coming months.

Gamewise, we see the HoN division starting to expand and establish through the captaincy of Deci who has been appointed the position within the last few weeks. He hopes to build the HoN division and make a few teams to compete. Best of luck to all members.

In CoD4, Cypher manage to shoot their way to the top 10 to pull themselves to rank 5, however after last nights loss to SYF they have been moved down one spot to a respectable rank of 6. We have Kdog squad hovering around 120-130, putting up a solid effort, and having fun as always. They secured an astonishing 23-1 win over their last opponent. A 3rd team is in progress as snakk decides to put it together with some new members and some loose members from our other teams.

The Modern Warfare 2 division has also kicked off well with 2 wins in a row so far, the ladder itself seems to be playing out well and we are enjoying it! so get the most out of it, and good luck with all upcoming matches.

CSS division may be starting up again soon, logan has decided to enforce certain rules upon the team and expects them to be upheld. Please do this as it will ensure the success of the CSS division. Things will continue to go as smooth as always, please encourage guests to apply for the clan, and enjoy the coming months with Nothing other than Zero.

29th November 2009 - News Update

Nothing Other Than Zero have had a reasonably exciting last few months with a lot been happening in the clan. First of all, we would like to welcome all of our new trialees and wish them best of luck going through their trials.

We are remaining predominantly focused on the Call Of Duty 4 ladder with three teams now battling it out. With the creation of 'Team Syzygy' and addition of some new talented players we wish them good luck as they acquire rank #35. Our most competitive team 'Team Cypher' has performed outstandingly well and now holds a spot in the top 20, successfully achieving rank of #14! Meanwhile the somewhat reshaped 'Kdog Squad' continues their climb up the ladder with a little higher expectations and a few new recruits.

As the release of many new games has taken place recently we have seen the extension of many new divisions with high hopes. Heroes of Newerth has gained in popularity and we have therefore decided to send two new teams into the ladder, Cyphon and Anarchy, wishing them luck on their voyage! On a lower note we regrettably announce that our Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike: Source divisions have sadly been removed from active competition with the focus of players shifting to other avenues.

We wait in anticipation as the planned website update commences, and ideas are thrown around the forums. The completion of this project will see a new face for No+Z and make our online community much easier and friendlier to use. Stay tuned to this very exciting and well worth event as we hope to be blown away!

Lastly, we lye in disappointment as Fuzz Factory announces his hiatus from competitive online gaming and steps down from his role in Team Syzygy. Also again good luck to all new members trialing for the clan, and may we offer you whatever service you need!

22nd September 2009 - News Update

Nothing Other Than Zero are happy to announce a new sponsorship deal with Keys4Games. This budding new business offers an ever extending range of stand-alone and steam compatible keys for the latest and popular games, at competitive prices. Check out http://www.keys4games.com.au/ today to browse their catalogue or to make a request for an unlisted key.

At a recent clan meeting a few announcements were made to reinforce the direction of the clan. With the new BF2 patch pleasing the requirements of the community, No+Z will be re-entering the 8v8 ladder once again. We are remaining heavily involved in CoD4 in anticipation of the newest Modern Warfare installment. Some minor player shuffling sees 3 No+Z teams competing in the ladder, headed up by team Cypher who recently claimed rank #44. In CSS, we are pleased to announce Crossfire and Logan have been given captaincy of the division. With these two capable players at the helm and the recruitment of some new talent, we're hoping to field a competitive team and make a splash in the Cybergamer CSS ladder.

Last night saw the much anticipated Admins & Captains vs. Members match take place. TeamAdmin dominated mp_crash causing the members to call for reinforcements and make it a 7v5. This did little to bolster the rampaging admins who sent the members packing and reaffirm their standing within the clan. Lots of lol's were had and this will no doubt be the first of many friendly interclan match-ups.

6th August 2009 - News Update

Nothing Other Than Zero are proud to present a new 18 slot public promod server for all No+Z members and the wider AusCoD community to use and enjoy. This server will offer a wide rotation of popular and lesser played maps to whet the appetite (and other regions) of all cod 4 players. All members are encourged to jump on and get some rep going for this new server. Add 203.14.173.229:28930 to your xfire favourites today!

We would like to congratulate No+Z team Facepalm for breaking into the top 20 of the CyberGamer Open CoD 4 ladder. In what was surely an intense battle last night against Puzzlez, Facepalm secured 19th position on the ladder and are now within striking distance of the top ten. In the meantime team Cypher are poised to enter the top 50, and a new look Ninja Mooses team begin their accent up the ladder.

Further mention goes out to our latest recruits and those who have recently become full members. Congrats and hope you have a long and bright future within the clan. For all members, a custom map night has been penciled in to be happening soon, so keep an eye on the forum thread for more news. And finally with the continual growth of the No+Z community, the executive decision has been passed to search for sponsorship for the clan. More on this soon.
